1. What is BluMint?

BluMint is a platform where streamers host real-money competitive gaming events. Tournaments are either free-to-enter or pay-to-enter. You compete against other players in skill-based matches, and winners take home the prize pool. Paid-entry tournaments are set up specifically by the creator (host) of the tournament.

2. Is this gambling?

No. BluMint events are skill-based competitions — outcomes are determined by how well you play, not by chance. BluMint operates under an independent legal opinion confirming its skill-based classification.

3. Is BluMint available where I live?

BluMint is currently only available in the US, and legally operates in 42 US states. To check whether your state is one of the 42, visit blumint.com and navigate to "Trusted infrastructure for interactive streaming."

4. How do I join a tournament?

For streamer tournaments that are free-to-enter, you can join in one click. We encourage you to check out the livestream of the streamer hosting the tournament for real-time updates on when your next match will be. For paid-entry tournaments, you can deposit money into your BluMint wallet via Credit Card, CashApp, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and more. After depositing funds, you can instantly join any tournament event, provided you have sufficient funds for it.

5. How do I get paid if I win?

Winnings are deposited automatically into your BluMint wallet when the event ends, processed securely through our payment partner, Coinflow.

6. How long do payouts take?

After an event ends, you can instantly withdraw your prize winnings to Venmo, PayPal, or your selected bank account.

7. I paid to enter a tournament, but the event never happened. Do I get my money back?

Yes. If you pay to enter an event and the host never starts the match, your entry fee is automatically refunded to your BluMint wallet. You're only ever charged for an event that actually takes place.

8. I'm a host. I set an entry fee and a prize, but I didn't end up running the event. What happens to the prize I committed?

If you set an entry fee and a match prize but don't start the event on the platform, the prize you committed is automatically refunded to your wallet. You're not charged for an event you don't run.

9. If I post a King of the Hill tournament for 5 matches, but only 2 matches take place because the queue didn't fully fill, do I get a refund as a host?

Yes, you do. The remaining prize amount you committed and posted on the platform, but didn't have players for, will be refunded to your wallet once you stop the queue. To stop the queue, just toggle off the queue on the participants panel.
